Zeke's Coffee of DC

The pictures seem a little bit deceptive of the size of this coffee shop. Zeke's is a fine place to grab a cup of coffee with a nice big window looking onto the street. There is a bunch of seating, yet it's rather cramped and most of the coffee shop is the kitchen.

Hands down best freshly roasted coffee in the region and among the best I’ve had in the country. (Much better than anything in Italy, where small batch roasters are very uncommon.) Guatemalan is my favorite but I’ve had several other varieties. And the bag is a full pound! So the price is exceptional given the quality.

Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about coffee. Large variety of beans and roast options. Thankfully they have a lot of power outlets but limited seating. The ambient sound from the equipment is a bit on the loud side, but still comfortable to get work done in. They also have free WiFi.

Can’t ask for a better local roaster and coffee shop! Warm and welcoming staff, great bean selection, and the pastry + breakfast sandwich options are second to none.
