What customers say
Arguably the best coffee I have had in Arlington/DC area. And I do NOT say that lightly (see my past reviews if you don’t believe me). The owner here cares about the craft. He brings his personal machine and sets up shop. The espresso was well balanced, the grind was very obviously dialed in.
Truss is located inside the bouldering gym but you do not have to to get a pass to get coffee! Terry is one of those people that care so much about what he does. And he does it so well. He remembers your drink order and of course it tastes amazing.
Truss coffee is my favorite coffee in DC. The owner Terry has a lot of history with coffee and it’s clear the move to open his own shop was brought about in a way that preserves his own very high standard for coffee. The beans that he sources and uses for his beverages are incredibly unique and flavorful.
Truss coffee is an incredible addition to Eckington! The americano is great (~ $4.50) and the beans work well for pour overs at home.
