Decent cup of coffee and oh boy the pastry...sooo good!! I'm on my way moving from Portland to San Francisco and I'll say the pastry here still ranks among the best in those two metropolitan cities, while their prices still stay very reasonable. I had a hard time to order because literally I wanted them all.
Theory Coffee Roasters is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown. From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans greet you. The decor is modern and minimalist, creating a calming to enjoy your cup of joe. The at Theory Coffee Roasters is top-notch.
The coffee and matcha were great but the customer service was amazing! I accidentally left my bag there but baristas were so helpful and the manager shipped my bag (along with a bag of their coffee beans) back to me since I was visiting from out of state! Definitely recommend this place!
We stopped here on Sunday morning for a caffeine boost. The double espresso and cold brew were both excellent. The café is well-located and offers a variety of seating options. The decor is lovely as well.
