Mudhouse Coffee Springfield

Absolutely a must visit when in Springfield, MO !!! Long layout for that old school coffeehouse feel. Music is palatable and lower level for lots of background talking white noise. Plenty of seating for 2, 3, or 4+. Coffee is roasted in-house, and the latte I had was perfect.

I made my first visit to Mudhouse early in the morning on a Monday, so I didn't experience any of the issues other people have mentioned with students and their backpacks and laptops crowding the place. . . but what else would one expect in this neighborhood, in a university town?

I had a phenomenal experience and it occurred to me that I should leave a review. The interior is very rustic and cozy, and the service was great—the employees were all very jovial the day I visited.

It was very busy, but the coffee was really good. The breakfast wraps are great- recommend the Boom Boom! If there isn't a place to sit at Mudhouse, there is a park about a block away!
