What customers say
In 2023, I visited over 50 shops. This one takes the cake. Excellent coffee! Great branding. Having empanadas be a staple of your shop is an awesome idea (they’re good!). I don’t live in D.C. area, but I did some research while visiting, and this place had some hype, so I took subways and buses (with my 4month old!
Absolutely wonderful coffee shop! If you love coffee and want to sample some of the best -- and most local -- beans that DC has to offer, head over to Lost Sock Roasters for not only some of the most phenomenal coffee, but also delicious treats, outstandingly friendly service, and a great ambiance.
I love Lost Sock Roasters. They have excellent customer service and I also love the space and aesthetic. It gets very busy so finding a good place to sit can be a challenge even on a weekday morning but sometimes you get lucky. The drip coffee is delicious and all the food we’ve had is also quite good.
Recently went to Lost Sock Roasters in Takoma Park for the first time to meet a colleague for coffee/tea. It was a late morning on a week day. Luckily, I was able to snag a parking space right across the street in front of Donut Run🍩😋, where the parking spaces are on a diagonal.
