“They use a different house espresso every day, and it's always a nice chocolate-forward medium roast.”
What customers say
Xela is a new spot for me but it has quickly arisen to be one of my favorite coffee shops in town. Their unique roast and fermentations always have such a depth of flavor that isn’t matched by many in Houston. You can tell the baristas here love coffee and that’s what matters most to me.
Located inside the Barber Shop. I was a bit confused finding it but asked a couple as they were leaving if XELA Coffee Roasters was inside and they confirmed. Ordered the Valley Girl for myself and Thai Matcha for my friend. The drinks are great.
A staple!! You want good quality coffee? This is it. I like to get the Larrybird which is a long espresso. This way I can taste the quality of the beans and it’s always 10/10! They always rotate the beans so you get a diff region every time which keeps it exciting. :)
Lots of fun well-crafted signature bevs, and the staff is always happy and patient with making recommendations. They use a different house espresso every day, and it's always a nice chocolate-forward medium roast. They're in an indoor bar space now, it's very cozy! Really cool variation of music.
