We live in Waterloo and ate at the Bean Tree Café many times, but we had never tried The Coffee Girl until now. We went there for breakfast and had the veggie skillet and southwestern avocado toast. Both were delicious, but the hashbrowns were a bit chewy, and the avocado was probably not fresh.
My friend and I met for breakfast and had a wonderful meal. My eggs Benedict was amazing and my coffee was perfect. I’m very particular about my cup of coffee and The Coffee Girl’s house blend was mild with no bitterness. I’m wishing I had another cup this morning!☀️ I can’t say enough about my first experience.
I finally visited The Coffee Girl last weekend after seeing it all over social media—and it definitely lived up to the hype! I got there about an hour before the kitchen closed, and it was packed. It’s a small space, so with the crowd, it got pretty loud, but the cozy and well-decorated vibe made up for it.
Well worth the 2 hour drive. Incredible atmosphere, amazing people working there, food is amazing and priced great. 100% best experience.
