Texas Coffee Works is so well-worth visiting! Do yourself a favor, take a drive to the beautiful Bastrop area and make Texas first Works your first stop. Come hungry, too, because once you step inside, you’ll want to try EVERYTHING, from sandwiches to delectable baked goods.

Melodi and Zach made our visit absolutely wonderful! The coffee was excellent — you can tell they really care about the craft, and the roaster they use puts out some seriously great beans.

Only rating a 4 because the coffee was a little bitter to me. However it was my first time there and Melody was more than helpful. I think if I’m in the area again I would give another try and ask for more sweetness. Melody did state they are more under sweet coffee.

Absolutely love this coffee shop ☕️ From the baristas and “barist-bros” to the quality of the coffee, everything here is just done right. We get our whole beans here too, and they truly have flavors for everyone. And the in-house baked goods are phenomenal, definitely worth grabbing something every time you stop in.
