Coffee Dog Roastery & Drive-Thru Café

What an amazing alternative to the big brands of coffee houses. Coffee dog is a local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. They're in a nice central location in Bastrop. And it is a pleasant experience. One of the big ironies of Coffee Dog is they put "dog" in the name.

I made my first trip to Coffee Dog this weekend and wasn’t disappointed. The service was excellent and the staff was beyond helpful in explaining the different types of chicken salad and even offered samples before I picked. I left with two freshly roasted coffees and can’t wait to try at home.

Coffee Dog has been a steady favorite for my husband & me since they started. Coffee roasted in house & food generally made here too. It's good, friendly & has out-lasted a number of other coffee places around town. A great stop for a quick treat or lunch.

First time in, had the caramel latte Expresso and the Green smoothie. It was great! Will definitely be back, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Thank y'all!
