Sweet Bloom Coffee

The coffee/beans are a bit expensive, but worth it. The baked goods are well priced. I got a bacon and green chili pastry that was to die for, and a cinnamon and honey scone that was quite good.

Sweet Bloom is a nationally renowned coffee roaster with three shops in the suburbs of Denver. This Arvada shop is located in a shopping area, it has some seatings inside, with a nice, large patio outside. Their staff is approachable, and pretty helpful when I needed to pick up some beans.

Sweet bloom has an international reputation for having amazing beans, and I feel lucky to get to live close enough to enjoy them a lot. This location is kind of dark, with plants and modern art lighting up the atmosphere.

I was going to get just a single origin espresso, but the barista made the suggestion to try a “one and one” where they split the shot and do half as a cortado so you can try with and without milk. Such a great idea, and I have never seen that done before! I appreciate his effort to make my experience even better.
