Espresso banana bread: not too sweet, moist, delectable. Coffee: really good! Space: bright, adequate amount of tables, and some outdoor tables. Parked on the street. Not too hard to find a spot on a Sunday morning. The area feels safe and pleasant for a little walk.
Rose Park is one of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach, but I haven't had the best experiences at this location. The location on 4th Street has been consistently better for me. The service has been pretty disappointing here at the location on Pine.
I’ve hearing about Rose Park’s coffee for a while so I decided to try their espresso. I regret not writing the name of that blend down, but damn was it good. The barista mentioned it was a blend specially designed for espressos and you can definitely taste that balance. Grateful for the recommendation!
