My first choice in coffee tasting this weekend was Dawson Taylor so I went straight there after checking out of my hotel. Upon arrival, Dylann greeted me with a shining smile. I knew this was going to be a good shop. The presence of dogs also made me excited plus everyone around was so nice.
A wise friend once told me you know a coffee shop is good when you walk in and see a pour over menu. That advice had yet to prove me wrong. Delicious coffee, great vibe, calm, and they have burlap sacks for free if you are looking for some art projects 🙃
I love visiting Dawson Taylor's roastery. They usually have a good selection of pour-over coffees available. It has a pretty laid back vibe, and not as trendy as their downtown coffee shop. I always walk to the back to look at the coffee roasters and see what's roasting.
