When I first moved to Ventura a few years ago, I discovered Prospect Coffee Roasters, and it quickly became one of those reliable, feel good spots. West Ventura has no shortage of great coffee options now, but this is still one of my go to places.
I always make sure to stop by when I’m in town. The baristas have the best taste in music and they really make delicious beverages. My personal favorite is Cortado paired with a nice croissant or danish. Sitting at the bar near the espresso machine is cool if you’re trying to catch a chill vibe.
Great place with cool and chill staff ready to take your order and get a drink to you quickly. They are amazing at what they do and they make your drink wiith a smile. The becerages I've gotten here are delicious. Most recently the Solimar Coconut. So unique in a latte but goes so well with the espresso.
I stopped by Prospect Coffee Roasters in Ventura and got a matcha, and honestly it was so good. The flavor was super smooth and not overly sweet—just really well balanced and refreshing. The shop itself has a really nice, clean vibe and feels like a great place to hang out or catch up with friends.
