Caje Coffee Roasters in Ventura is such a cool and unique spot. The café is set inside an old Victorian-style home that’s been converted into a coffee place, and it has an awesome vibe from the moment you walk in. It feels cozy, different, and full of character — not like your typical coffee shop.
Our second time here, our first time we only ordered a drink (Maui Brad), second time we ordered the Burnout and food. My boyfriend and I liked both coffee drinks but were surprised that we actually preferred the Burnout over the Maui Brad.
Fun spot! I’ve been to SB Caje and while good, this place is better. Food and signatures are beautiful. If you don’t want to spend $10 on a drink, they have other drinks as well. The cost is somewhat inflated by presentation for signatures— I’ve tried 3 and only one was impressive in flavor to me.
Gorgeous little cafe with beautifully presented food. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The layout is a bit intimate indoors as tables aren't spaced out much & a small bar - every seat was taken by 11am on a Friday when I arrived.
