What customers say
Enjoyed my experience at Obscure. A small neighborhood cafe/nano roaster that specializes in South American coffee beans. I ordered a pour-over with anaerobic, natural gesha from Peru ($12). It was brewed on a v60, well balanced, good clarity, yellow fruit juiciness. Maybe slightly over extracted but very tasty.
Visited Obscure after visiting Dayglow and Sey on the same day, and Obscure was 100x better. Their coffee selection and pour over technique was way better than the other two. I was able to taste all the notes listed on the coffee description, and it was a reasonable price!
Awesome new shop in the front of Bushwick Comedy Club! The owner is super knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and they roast their own beans right in Brooklyn which is super cool. I love the creativity of the specialty drinks, I had the coquito latte and it was delicious!
Pastries and coffee are insane. One of the better specialty coffee shops in the area. Pourover with Geisha beans is a must try if you like lighter fruitier beans.
