The happiest place on Earth. Feels like something from a movie or television show. The pure definition of community. The owners and baristas are so welcoming and make a huge effort to get to know all their visitors and create connections and interactions within their space.

The fluorescent hum of a generic corporate brew is nowhere to be found here. On a stretch of Milwaukee Avenue where the ghosts of industrial Chicago still linger in the brickwork, Magnifico Coffee Roasters stands as a temple to the unpretentious bean.

Magnifico Coffee Roasters is our new coffee spot added to our rotation of fabulous coffee shops in Chicago. Adam, the owner, is awesome! A very kind, welcoming and generous man. Not too many coffee shops have this sense of hospitality. We met Adam once and his demeanor and approachable personality won us over.

Magnifico does not only have my favorite coffee in the city, but some of my favorite people. They roast the best coffee, and I’d encourage you to take a bag home. In addition to some incredible local pastries, they also offer Colombian baked goods like pan de bono. You can also ask about events happening at the shop.
