Always a good sign when they're serving espresso and tonic. The barista was super helpful and engaged with my random questions about the shop. Thanks :) Grabbed a cup of the tonic and even got a free drip cup with my bag of Songwe, Tanzania.
Gaslight is my favorite coffee shop in Chicago, and I've visited them all over several years of living here. From the cozy atmosphere, unique interior (large windows in an acute corner property), and good music to the delicious drink menu, fresh pastries (fruit gallete is my favorite), and chill staff Gaslight has…
Loved it! Finally a superb coffee shop with spacious coffee with enough sitting where you don’t feel you’re being rushed to leave your table. We had the latte (beautifully made 👌🏼), a drip, and a double shot of espresso (wonderful floral/fruity taste!).
Cozy coffee shop and roaster in a narrow corner building. Interior is sparse, but what's there is very nice. If they're roasting you'll be able to smell the beans in Milwaukee as you approach. Pastry selection was small, but solid and the drip coffee was one of the best I've had in a while.
