I am not from this area but came here to shop at King’s Bookstore. We found ourselves in want of coffee while shopping and googled coffee shops nearby. I liked that Lucky freshly roasts their beans. We ordered a double with pistachio milk, a chai, a mint latte and cinnamon rolls.
Lucky Coffee Roastery in Corktown – a cozy spot that’s part coffee shop, part barbershop, all wrapped up in an old building with serious character. It’s like someone’s dream coffee shop come to life, with soft-spoken, reserved service that lets you enjoy your coffee without any fuss.
This place is wonderful! They make their own alternative milks with limited ingredients (oat, almond, cashew AND pistachio!!!) AND they’re delicious!!! The staff is so friendly and sweet and accommodating.
Awesome coffee shop in the corktown neighborhood of Detroit. Very original and eccentric atmosphere, with amazing coffee options. Definitely recommend the vanilla bean iced latte. The service was accommodating and super friendly.
