As a Filipino-American who visits the Philippines yearly and frequently travels to East Asia, this coffee shop truly knows its way around matcha and especially ube. I came in initially expecting to be disappointed (as it’s difficult to find quality ube and matcha drinks in the U.S.), but was only pleasantly surprised.
Great place to stop for a cup of coffee on a long bike ride. They have outdoor seating which I prefer when on my bike but if you like to sit inside they have plenty of room for a small group. The coffee was delicious and they have your standard pastries, though if you want one you better get there early.
Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere in the early morning hours. The Italian Soda and the Lemon Danish were delicious! The cashier was kind enough to offer me two small danishes for the price of one, the servers were so sweet! Definetly a nice spot to sit back and relax, and enjoy a sip. Definetly would recommend.
First time in to King Coffee. This place had a great vibe, seating nooks, and a good coffee menu with fresh pastries. Walking distance from ASU Tempe campus and worth the trip. The cheese danish was perfect - not too sweet. And the cappuccino was awesome. Would return!
