Flywheel Roasters on Stanyan is a true coffee paradise in SF. The moment you enter, an intriguing and distinct aroma of freshly roasted beans envelops you. Their commitment to same-day roasting is evident in every exceptional cup. The coffee is simply awesome – vibrant, nuanced, and bursting with flavor.
Superb cappuccinos, cortado and Americanos across 3 recent visits. After visiting Flywheel several times over the years the quality and consistency continue to impress. Barista Gary is a master of his craft with friendly smile and good humor. Other baristas also kind and like to answer questions.
Every time we go to Flywheel Coffee Roasters, we leave feeling happier than when we walked in. Of course, the coffee is exceptional — their flat white is one of my absolute favorites in the city — but what truly makes Flywheel special is the people and the whole experience.
I'm not local - but it seems like everyone else in this coffeeshop was, and I mean that in the best way. Flywheel feels like a place where everybody knows everybody and the baristas know your dog. Now, for the coffee. They had a nice selection of single source beans. We went for the siphon preparation.
