Q Specialty Coffee

Another new Bay Area matcha cafe popularized on social media! It’s really cute inside but I was surprised that a cafe specializing in matcha would pre-make their matcha lattes rather than whisk each to order. Maybe this is due to their new opening (40min-1hr wait) so they don’t have time?

This cafe was really cute, and I was lucky to go at a good time when the line wasn’t long. We tried the yuzu matcha and the coconut latte, and both were fantastic. The matcha had a strong, pleasant flavor, and the yuzu added a refreshing, subtle twist.

First in line a few minutes before opening and they welcomed us right in. Ordered the Sunrise Espresso Cloud, Velvet Matcha Cloud, and Coco Wave Matcha Cloud… all good.

went here for the first time because finally there was no line going out the door! I usually get cortados or iced coffee with a little milk. this place has unique drinks so I played it safe and went with the advice of getting an Americano with an espresso cloud.
