Easily one of, if not the best, coffee shop in Atlanta! They roast their own beans on site, which is huge. They also keep 2 Drip Coffees, and 2 Espresso Beans on at a time, which is very rare for a coffee shop to do but is so appreciated.
Chrome Yellow Trading co makes a superb oat milk latte. The espresso is dark, rich, earthy but not bitter. The foam was rich and creamy. It was excellent! The shop was very roomy with lots of separate seating areas. There were two bathrooms but one was out of order. There were cool, unique stuff for sale.
This place stood out from everything I could find in downtown Atlanta as one of the few specialty roasters that has branded merch and also can speak to each coffee varietal. I was very impressed at the service I got at 7am from the barista who was very knowledgeable.
I saw all the reviews about the london fog here and had to try it. Spoiler: they are all right. This might be the best london fog I’ve had in Atlanta since coming here. My 16oz hot LF was about $6 which is fair around here. You can clearly taste the vanilla/earl gray with a tiny hint of citrus.
