You wouldn't guess that a little coffee shop sharing a space with a butcher/sandwich joint in a cozy corner of the Virginia Highlands area would be the some of the best coffee in the city. But it is. The space is small, yet very relaxed, even during a Saturday brunch rush.
Adorable nook outfitted with a cafe, butcher shop and small fresh produce selection. Today we stopped for a quick coffee, just a flat white and an espresso. Their signatures have unique twists that I'd be interested in trying on my next visit. The flat white was lovely, though the espresso on it's own was a bit sour.
We had such an amazing time here trying all the different drinks! It was awesome to see how some cocktail philosophy + coffee + milk can create some truly special drinks. I'm really glad to see them using some of the best roasters and truly special coffee.
Quaint coffee shop with industrial-like interior. There’s street parking available and only outdoor seating. There’s also a butcher/small deli shop inside. Really wish they had indoor seating though. The Banko Gotiti Ethiopia blend had a very floral-heavy flavor profile.
