The Cherry Bean is a pinnacle of how a real coffee shop can survive against a Starbucks without sacrificing low price or quality. I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and it’s one of those places where it has its own nostalgia. The building comes alive with its authenticity and vibrant soul.
Thr Cherry Bean is a cool little spot on Main St, in oldtown Salinas. They display local artists' artwork on their walls, have a cozy reading corner, and plenty of seating. It is a fairly quiet café perfect for conversing with friends. The menu's got a wide selection of teas which are served chilled or hot.
It's been years since I left this area, and I still miss Cherry Bean! I travel a lot and I love coffee. I always try to find the best local coffees, and Cherry Bean is the best coffee we had in California. They will also ship coffee to you, if you want.
The coffee is amazing great price and the place is beautiful. The staff was so friendly im so glad I stopped in.
