Absolutely FREEZING inside all the time. A/C seems to run nonstop. Bring an extra layer and a hat if you want to sit with a friend. Great in summer, rough in winter to hang out at all with coffee. Interesting coffees, good baristas, love that they change up the light and dark drips weekly.
Bird rock is an awesome local coffee shop in San Diego. The liberty station area is such a cool little spot, with all the shops and small businesses, very walkable sidewalks and perfusion of greenery and clean streets. I’d love to be able to live here. The staff were friendly, fast and efficient.
I recently tried a honey-cinnamon latte at a local cafe, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. The combination of sweet honey and warm cinnamon was perfectly balanced, with smooth espresso and a creamy froth that made every sip a delight.
This is one of the best spots in Liberty Station for coffee. Amazing latte art, delicious roast, and almost never any lines. Love this place!
