“I absolutely love Acento, they have several different coffees pre-massed ready to ground for your espresso.”
“I saw Acento right next to Book Store and got my mid day cold brew and it may be the smoothest cold brew I’ve ever had with a complex flavor.”

“I am here at lease once a month now picking up fresh roasted beans!”
“Overall, great espresso, but the milk-based drinks need more precision to match expectations.”

What customers say
However, on my second visit I ordered a latte and the milk texture was very thick and foamy—much closer to a cappuccino than a latte. It seems like the milk is being steamed in a very uniform way across drinks, which makes it hard to distinguish between different coffee styles.
I’m giving them 5 stars even though I didn’t entirely love my order. Just personal preference, as I typically lean towards bolder coffee roasts. They had a variety of roasts and they highlighted that they were currently out of the bolder ones.
I absolutely love Acento, they have several different coffees pre-massed ready to ground for your espresso. Their coffee is roasted in house and delicious. I really enjoy their El Idolo Blend, but they have 6+ beans on hand to buy. The coffee shop is cool, it has a vibrant local following.
A serious hidden gem for all the coffee and espresso aficionados of the world. Wander over here if you want an exceptional, carefully crafted cuppa. Tucked next to the old Bookstar (now Barnes & Noble), you won’t see it from Rosecrans but it’s there. If they’re busy, be patient. It’s worth the wait.
