If you're looking for a unique coffee experience, you need to check out Barbell Coffee. Their subscription service is awesome, and super flexible. They are very accommodating in adjusting quantities as you go. Even their "standard" coffees are anything but standard - they are very careful about sourcing.
I ordered the Rope Climb medium roast and absolutely loved it! It was freshly roasted just one day before it shipped and the flavor profile was lovely with a lot of depth! Will definitely be ordering from Barbell again!
I have had not only had the opportunity to try several of Barbell's coffee options, but I have also had the privilege to meet the owner of the company, Ender, and hear his story about how Barbell came to be. Both were top notch experiences for me.
I first encountered Ender at his Barbell coffee booth last year at the Saturday morning farmer's market on Carmichael Road. Whenever possible I prefer to support our local businesses, so I purchased some of his coffee and was very happy with the product.
