Almanac Coffee

My litmus test for any coffee shop is a cortado (Gibraltar). I think it is easy to cover up a poor espresso shot with lots of milk and sweetener. But the equal ratio of milk to espresso really helps the espresso shine and the one I had here was fantastic! The beans we picked up for home were excellent as well.

Best dirty chi of my life!!! The spices were rich and the coffee was high quality and perfectly well roasted. The gifts, artwork and pottery feature many local artists and feature an eclectic array of local beauty. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff a joy. Will come again.

If you live in Duluth, do yourself a favor and get a monthly subscription to Russell's coffee. Excellent product from a roaster who knows what he is doing, values his customers, and values his coffee suppliers. Best coffee I've ever had, and an excellent business to work with.
