WC Clarke's The Cheese Shoppe

The Cheese Shoppe's Guatemala Decaf is the best decaf that I have ever had. I travel an hour to get it every three weeks or so. I mix the decaf with regular coffee also from the Cheese Shoppe. It's insanely awesome! I love dark coffee beans and I am very picky. This place puts starbucks to shame!

Cheese shoppe is the coolest cafe in State College. The owners are nice, all the baristas are social and happy to talk. The coffee is old-school which is a plus for me, and they regularly roast in house so you get to be there to see that as well.

Bill was there. I believe he is the owner. He is an attentive nice man. He was really cordial and pleasant. I got half block of Hollandaise cheese (gouda) and coffee. There is a big repertoire of coffee there according to the roasting preference of the clients.

Even though I live far, far away outside of State College in Las Vegas, I always buy my coffee from The Cheese Shoppe and have it shipped. Why? Because the proprietor, Ray, really knows his beans inside and out and each package is delivered with a sense of gratitude. I highly recommend to all coffee connoisseurs.
