Vassilaros Coffee Company

I had the pleasure of drinking this coffee for the first time about 6 months ago at a local diner I frequent, ever since my first cup I have been hopelessly addicted to this stuff.

V&S is equal if not better than Intelligentsia, Blue Bottle and others, yet unfortunately most don’t even know about this old company. Amazing decaf as well, this coffee is soothing and great black, with some jazz accompaniment. Over 100 years old it is literally NYC culture in every glass.

Called the company to ask if their vanilla flavored coffee was gluten free. I spoke with a wonderful woman named Margaret who took the time to contact the supplier they buy their flavoring from to find out. Margaret called me back and confirmed that both the French vanilla and hazelnut flavored coffees are gluten free!

Love vassilaros coffee just order 8 1lb bags for home in East Meadow. 2 days to get here. Excellent coffee. My parents used to drink this coffee at Parkside Restaurant in Corona that's how I fell in love with it
