Luv, luv, luv everything about Utica Coffee Roasting Company located in Historic Bagg's Square West. Excellent coffee and service. You have to try the Wake The Hell Up blend. So good. They also have the best bagel breakfast sandwich. Equally important is the experience. It was truly a very welcoming environment.

You guys. I just met my new BFF Cori. She and her husband bought a farm during Covid, but she's a people-person & needed to get back to work, and her former boss brought her back on at Utica Coffee Roasting. That's one of the things I learned on our first friend date.

This coffee shop has a fantastic atmosphere with an amazing aroma and welcoming feel. I visited on a busy Sunday morning, and the line was quite long, keeping the staff moving efficiently. I really enjoyed my coffee—though most options were light roast, and I personally prefer a darker one.

Giving it 4 stars because they actually established a decent business with a decent product in Utica. Back in my day all Utica created in city limits was Saranac. Being a coffee lover and because I was meeting up with Rasta, I just had to visit their downtown Utica location.
