What customers say
Thread Coffee Roasters was an open, airy cafe. It clearly serves the multi-use work space that it is inside of but I felt welcome as a walk-in as well. It's got a fairly sterile feel that would definitely help me be productive if I was trying to get some work done.
I picked up their coffee in a DC Whole Foods. It’s the best roaster from the region I’ve tried so far. Much better than what I’ve found locally in DC. The best part is buying their coffee supports a lot of really important movements within the coffee industry.
I attended a Milk Steaming and Latte Art Masterclass and cannot recommend it enough. I was so impressed with the science behind it all and how well they presented the info. It made the skills part of the class a lot easier to understand.
We love the story behind Thread, and so we ordered a pound online. We tried the Limu, which is a light roast Ethiopian coffee--it was wonderful both hot and iced. We thought the roast level was perfect and let the bean's flavors shine through. We will be ordering again!
