The Roastery By Ava

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Roastery by Ava in downtown Beaverton to celebrate my granddaughter’s graduation, and it was nothing short of exceptional. This Italian-adjacent spot blends elegance with warmth, offering a cozy and conversation-friendly atmosphere that feels both modern and inviting.

The setting has dim lighting so it’s perfect for a date. The drinks were very well made and you could tell a lot of effort was put into creating the tastes. I tried the “Paper Plane” which was a citrusy and smooth whiskey.

I visited for the first time last night, about a month after they opened. The atmosphere was really nice, and the staff (particularly Nathan the manager) were welcoming, informative, and made it a great time! My eyes were opened earlier this year to espresso martinis and so I ordered the Midnight Cocoa.

What a cool spot for a night cap. Or 3. The espresso martini was perfection. The old fashion was delicious and I don’t even like bourbon. The victor was like a Christmas explosion in my mouth. To top it off the service was EXCELLENT. It’s rare nowadays to see the passion in each staff member.
