The Pampered Palate Cafe

Located downtown, so parking is tricky but we found a place on the street. Quaint small town. Limited seating but short wait. Very good selection of unique and tasty creations. They were out of the chili, which I hoped to try. Quesadilla appetizer was ok but could have used more cheese.

We found this place to be fantastic! It's quaint and cozy and definitely a place that I think we will return to. We ordered some of the fresh lemonade and loved it. The real treat was the sandwich and macaroni salad. We ordered a sandwich called The Parking Garage on rye. It was great!

I dined here with my mom and sister during a lovely “ladies day trip” visit to Staunton. One of the historical guides at the Frontier Culture Museum recommended this cafe as a nice place for mother daughter groups, and she was so right! We had a delightful time and a lovely light lunch.

Solid lunch spot in downtown Staunton. Wide variety of sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes. You can also build your own sandwich if you'd like. I ordered the Mountain Laurel sandwich with a side of fruit and it was exactly as expected and tasty. I really enjoyed the specialty iced team they had.
