The Old City (nuts & spice) Roastery

What a GEM of a food import store. I heard about this place on Yelp. I read they had the Dubai chocolate bar, they did - small chocolate square versions. I sample bought from the mixed nuts, the nougat rolls, and a few wrapped chocolates. Everything was of high quality and delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at The Old City (nuts & spice) Roastery. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm hospitality that reflects the heart of the Middle East.

This Mediterranean nuts, sweets, and spice shop is a gem. Their smoked nut variety sold me. Every bite was full of flavor! Perfectly roasted, crunchy and with just the right touch of seasoning… highly addictive in the best way. The chocolates! There were so many to choose from.

If you’ve never been to Istanbul and walked the narrow alleys of the Grand Bazaar, then no need to stress because the taste of Turkish sweets just settled in Beautiful Hayward at The Old City nuts and spices.
