The Lab Coffee - Heights

Coffee spots have impressed me less and less lately, but this was a welcome surprise! Loved the casual environment and energy of the staff. The espresso was great quality and dialed in perfectly. Small food menu, but everything was so well done. Don’t sleep on the breakfast burrito! We’ll be back as soon as possible.

I am a bagel baker, and as I travel around the world I try and find the l best bagels I can in each city, so I can make my recommendations whenever people inevitably ask. This place has just taken the spot on the top of that list. I am not kidding when I say their everything bagel is a 10/10.

We were in town for a few days for spring training baseball and came here after landing at TPA. We look for specialty coffee cafes and especially those with their own roasting. This location was small and only had a few places to sit but our timing was good and we were able to sit at the bar.

I always have a good experience at The Lab. Espresso is always excellent, staff at this location in particular is fun, friendly, and conversational. They seem to really enjoy what they're doing. Empanadas are excellent too - and everything comes out pretty quick. And pricing doesn't feel egregious.
