The Kookaburra Compound

I love Kookaburra Coffee so much! The flavor and strength of their espresso really gets me going! I just love their aussie pies for a nice bite to eat. It's a tough decision between the Sweet Potato & Feta or the Veggie Coconut Curry pie when those are available, but there are many more to choose from!

We ventured here on our way into St. Augustine. I had been craving a coffee all day and what better way to enjoy one than at a cafe hailing from Down Under. The first thing I noticed was how welcoming and polite the baristas were to us. They were happy to answer questions and give suggestions.

Found a gem of a coffee shop while poking around this side of Florida. Bearing an Aussie theme, their best drink is the Honey Badger latte with vanilla, honey and cinnamon. I had a Guatamalen decaf pour over w cream. It was excellent. My wife had the Mocha Nut (no Xtra sugar). She loved her drink.

Family stopped by for coffee while we were in town. Stopped in and it was nice to see a coffee roaster in the building. Store was laid out nice and had some fresh roasted coffee for sale. I have a vanilla latte and it was smooth and creamy. Wasn't very strong in flavor, bitterness or sweetness.
