Updated review on 3/3/2024 - adding new pix. Flavors lean towards Italian style of espresso with deep, toasted arabica notes. Since my prior review I have visited a few times and the quality while good has not been consistent. I hope the very kind owner who I met on a prior visit is there next time.
If you’re looking for a coffee shop that gets everything right, Tellus Coffee is it. The coffee is consistently excellent. Thoughtfully sourced, expertly brewed, and clearly made by people who care about quality.
Tellus is our favorite coffee shop in Walnut Creek and has updated their menu. We love the new peanut butter, banana, pecan and honey toast. The vibe is great with a fantastic staff! The coffee is top shelf with the owner always providing fresh beans. We’re excited that they’ve added a 2nd location in Danville.
Bright, airy, open with high ceilings. Great place to get artisan lattes. There is a seasonal coffee menu with flavored lattes (hot or cold) to choose from. Rose latte and Pistachio latte are excellent options. Tellus Coffee also sells “poured coffees.” In dining, you can have your latte served in a ceramic mug.
