I visited Spyhouse Coffee Roasters in Rochester on a quiet Sunday morning, and it instantly stood out as a refined, intentional space that takes coffee seriously. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly ground beans and the clean, modern aesthetic created a calm and inviting atmosphere.
Great spot to stop here in downtown of Rochester for really great coffee. As it is a roastery - coffee is amazing. Nice atmosphere. You can buy here lots of coffee beans for home as well and even branded stuff. Very close to Mayo Clinic, on the ground floor of TownePlace Suites.
We have been to Mayo five times since October 2026 and are so happy to finally have found a coffee shop that cares about, crazy enough, good coffee. The staff has been awesome and the espresso is by far the best we have found here. It’s our new go-to stop for coffee. Thanks for sharing your craft of the coffee bean.
I love this place. Not just because the coffee is a good tasty time, or that it’s across the street from my work, or because the atmosphere is *chefs kiss*, but because I’m in a better mood every single I leave than when I first walked in. Gil is awesome and all the other staff are so nice and friendly.
