Sparrow Coffee Roastery

No relevance to the place, just the outstanding coffee this establishment produces and puts forth into the Chicago and surrounding market. I am always absolutely giddy when I go to a restaurant and they have Sparrow coffee. It’s what friends and I refer to as “Hotel Coffee.

Getting a bag of freshly roasted Sparrow coffee was game-changing for my home espresso game. I live in West Loop, so was able to order beans for pick-up from the roastery. The beans I picked up were roasted the previous day, so they were insanely fresh. They also produced some of the best tasting espresso I've made!

Sparrow is a wholesale roaster, but you can stop by at this location to buy roasted beans by the pound. Great customer service!

Popped in to see if they sold espresso beans to the public and to my surprise they do! I got lucky and met the owner & he was so nice and knowledgeable. You can tell he is so passionate. Basically gave me a complimentary tasting of some of the espresso beans. So excited to have found a local coffee roaster ❤️
