Discovered this place on an unexpected travel delay and have made it a point to stop by again every time visiting LA. Great tasting coffee roasted on location, fantastic atmosphere and above and beyond service.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The Burundi Kibingo Oro pour over that Kai recommended was excellent. And the pastry was delicious too. I got to sit there for a little while and do some writing. Highly recommend this place.
Beautiful interiors with a high ceiling and ample space to find your own nook. It smells amazing in here because they roast their coffee beans in house. You can see the roasting machine in the corner and each time I’ve been in, an employee is tending to a new batch of fresh coffee beans.
If you’re looking for a true neighborhood coffee shop this is it! I went mid day on a week day and it was steady. It was like a modern day Cheers. The barista knew everyone that walked up to the counter. She was genuine in her conversations and made sure to have a connection - something that is uncommon today.
