My son, a barista in Providence, found Slacktide and recommended it as a "must go." My wife and I went. First note upon walking in the door: bright, clean and cool modern decor. Second, staff-managers were super welcoming, engaging and friendly.
Easy online ordering, with intuitive menu to customize your coffee. I got dark roast which was really bold. They didn't go overboard on the cream and sugar which I find most places do. Got some donuts and toast as well, and I must say that the quality of the donuts was out of this world.
Slacktide is conveniently located next to Levitate on Ocean St across the street from CVS. They offer small batch coffees, artisan teas, light bites like sandwiches and homemade baked goods. The food is good and oh my, the donuts are a nice treat! Not only is the food good but the owners are lovely people..
I’m visiting family here in Marshfield and have been recommended to try Slacktide, so I did. I was not disappointed at all!!! This place has AMAZING lattes, the price, taste and milk/espresso ratio is honestly the best I’ve had.
