Everytime I come here the coffee is different, in the best way possible as it’s always delicious. Sometimes it’s smooth and light, sometimes more bitter, and this last time it’s acidic and fruity. It was cool seeing one of the owners working the bar and pulling espresso shots while making conversation.
Good classic coffees and teas. It's what I'd call a "destination coffee shop" Not the local shop that you'd drive by or walk to. Nothing wrong with that. Dogwood in NE is similar. A place you go to and hang out. Tucked in the Vandalia Tower complex. Only signage on the Street is a little coffee sign.
Wicked location right next to Lake Monster Brewing. Open warehouse interior made cozy with a plethora of plants. Perfect for meet-ups or laptop work. They source & roast single origin micro-lots, which I enjoyed a cup of their Ethiopian roast.
SK Coffee is a hidden gem. It's been on our list to try for awhile now and we finally visited to find that it was even better than we expected. When it comes to coffee, I'm pretty straightforward. Give me a bold dark roast with a splash of almond milk and I'm a happy camper.
