I discovered this local coffee shop on Yelp and paid them a visit today. The coffee shop is huge, high-ceiling and has a plenty of indoor seatings on both the first and second floor. The music is very chill and the barista was super sweet and friendly.
Salt Lake Roasting Co is a cozy place for a cup coffee and light work. Would be a great place to bring a friend! I am studying for exams and would not specifically recommend this location for focused study or deep work. It is tight quarters and an easy place to get distracted.
When I’m around this area, I like stopping by to grab a cold brew, a great variety of single-origin coffees, quick service, and great pastries. It's such a cool place to hang out and do some work, as they have plenty of seating. On the 2nd floor, you get a view of the place.
As a home coffee drinker from Indonesia, I have tried many coffee beans from various locations and coffee roasters throughout the country. I have also tried some coffee shops near downtown SLC. Salt Lake Roasting Co. is different.
