RUN do not walk to this most fabulous eatery in Westwood, NJ!!! At the last minute we decided to try this place for breakfast rather than grabbing a bagel and coffee. From the second we walked in we were greeted warmly and were in awe of the interior.
Arrived shortly after 8am for breakfast. Received a warm welcome and first to be seated in the restaurant tables. The space is very pretty and fresh. Server was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the coffee choices.
I cannot explain the amazing experience my wife and I had here. The friendliness from the staff and waiters was very welcoming. The time they took actually have a conversation with you, instead of the hustle and bustle. The coffee was absolutely amazing as they roast their beans in house.
This restaurant has great potential, but there are definitely some growing pains. The 'Benito' was a standout dish, though I found the coffee a bit weak. While the building's history as a former bank is a very unique touch, the lack of background music made the dining room feel awkwardly quiet.
