Great coffee and immaculate vibe for a neighborhood coffee shop. Not just the roasting but the syrups are made in house too, with flavors like lavender & thyme. The espresso is not dark but also not acidic like some lighter espressos. My cappuccino was balanced, with a nice dense foam and beautiful latte art.
The best coffee shop in the area. Period. The baristas were so nice, the vibe was welcoming, and the location was very neighborhood-y. The stand out for us though was the coffee. We got iced lattes and espresso shots. They use a great locally roasted blend for their espresso, and their baristas know what they're doing.
Since moving to the Roanoke area about 5 or 6 years ago, RND has been a staple in my experience of the area, and oftentimes one of the main highlights. Without a doubt, the coffee is the best I've had in the entire southwest Virginia region. Every flavor of latte, every type of coffee bean, is exceptional.
