My first visit to Middletown. This is a take out only coffee shop. I had a Nicaraguan pourover and it was fantastic. I havent had such a great cup of coffee in years. Although it was extremely busy the staff is very good and efficient. I had one of the Riposo blends at the Keyport Funhouse and it was stellar.
Coffee beans are great, I like that theyre roasted locally. Personally I find their drinks too sweet but everyone else i know loves them for the taste and creativity. They do look good and theyre very popular so order ahead bc it takes time
Today we had a cappuccino one with whole milk and the other with oatmilk. Both were yummy. Loved the taste of there roasted coffee bean. I'm a coffee snob, since I am Latina I grew up drinking cappuccino like it was regular coffee. It was always and still is espresso coffee in my house.
It was our first time coming here, and the service was great. I wish I could remember her name, but she took our order, and she was able to answer every question we had. She was helpful and friendly from the min we walked it. I had the seasonal fig mocha.
