Rigby Roasters is, by far, the best barista/roaster I know. Rigby is like a chemist — mad scientist, magician — with how acute he is at fine-tuning the roast and the prep.
This locally owned coffee shop is a little gem of the neighborhood. The husband and wife couple running Corona are so sweet and their attention to customers is excellent.
Corona has excellent atmosphere and coffee. The quintessential locally owned neighborhood coffee shop. Owners are genuine, friendly, and tell great stories. Lots of hand-made coffee syrups and excellent espresso/lattes. Also has great cold brew. My favorite spot!
Just wanted to add another positive review for my neighborhood coffee shop. Naiman and the others (sorry, don't know all the names yet) are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable coffee folks. They roast the beans themselves and do it very well.
