Red Rooster Coffee: Where Warmth and Quality Meet in Floyd, VA During my recent visit to Floyd, VA, I stumbled upon a true hidden gem—Red Rooster Coffee. From the moment you walk through the door, it’s impossible not to feel the welcoming warmth of this cozy, local favorite.
I live in Las Vegas and was traveling through Virginia for the holidays. I googled this wonderful coffee shop so as picky as I am, I figured why not try it since it was a local owned shop. I'm tired of these name brand places so I prefer locally private owners. I was absolutely impressed!!!
I tried my first “cupping” and learned so much about coffee. The Red Rooster is warm and inviting, with two levels of seating plus a porch area. If you arrive after hours, they even have a bean vending machine outside!
I had a great stop at Red Rooster Coffee in Floyd and was genuinely impressed. I ordered a cortado, and it was beautifully presented — clean lines, silky microfoam, and perfectly balanced proportions. Thankfully, it tasted just as good as it looked.
