Recess Coffee Westcott

Update 9/22/24: Friendly atmosphere, wide variety of drinks options. Food was prepared a little on the slow side but it was hot and fresh. We ordered the "Predator" and felt it was a bit heavy on the spicy mustard but overall it was good. Small space on the inside for limited seating.

Excellent espresso drinks and the bags of roasted beans are great for making drip coffee at home. The indoor seating is pleasant and it is a nice place to chat or work. I’ve been to many coffee shops in Syracuse and this is my favorite one by far!

Very busy business so plan on waiting. The drinks are very good but the bagel breakfast sandwiches need better bagels. The bagels are out of a bag and weren't toasted. Tasted like eating a Lenders bagel but I know it isn't, supposed to be Cassanovia. Parking can be difficult.

This spot is a locals favourite and came highly recommended. I’d give them a five for aesthetics. The small-town feel was pleasing to the eyes. However they had limited decaffeinated coffee options so I couldn’t grab a drink. The cookies smelled and tasted good. I’d recommend an early morning hop in
